Clarisa Blattner is the Senior Director for MDx Support Services at XIFIN, Inc. Over the last six years, she has helped manage the billing and reimbursement operations of the outsourced billing department at XIFIN, cultivating and directing a large team of revenue cycle personnel, which services over 45 independent labs in multiple specialties, with focus on operational excellence, including workflow, service, platform, revenue cycle optimizations, and continuous process improvement. She also serves as a strategic consultant in clinical and billing operations. Ms. Blattner has over 20 years of healthcare experience, with 18 years being in revenue cycle management within the lab industry for such organizations as US Labs, Clarient, and MDxHealth. Clarisa holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Biological Sciences from the University of Southern California, and a certificate in Business Administration. She also holds a CCS credential through AHIMA, and a CPC credential through AAPC.
Conor Ward brings nearly two decades of software sales leadership in the laboratory industry to XIFIN. Over the past six years Conor has managed and directed the LIS sales efforts at XIFIN focusing on growing LIS revenue and expanding the footprint of the LIS to new laboratory market verticals and geographic locations. Prior to XIFIN, he spent 12 years at ChemWare, Inc., an enterprise laboratory information systems and data analytics company, most recently serving as Director of Business Development. At ChemWare, he rose through the ranks and built and managed a sales team that grew revenue by double digits every year under his leadership. Conor holds a B.S. in biology from the University of Maine and an M.B.A from Wake Forest University.
Charlene is responsible for customer success, business development and regulatory at Fabric Genomics. Charlene has spent her career building businesses at the intersection of data, technology and life sciences. Previous to Fabric Genomics, she was responsible for all go-to-market activities at Metamarkets, a big data analytics startup. Prior to Metamarkets, Charlene was Vice President of Business Planning at Oracle where she rolled out Analytics for the sales organization, and Executive Director of Sales Operations at Siebel Systems, a $2B license business. She also led product management at DoubleTwist, a bioinformatics startup. Charlene started her career as a neuroscience researcher at Syntex (acquired by Roche). She holds a B.A. in Human Biology from Stanford University and an M.B.A. from the Haas School of Business at U.C. Berkeley.
Jeanette McCarthy is a genome scientist and educator working at the forefront of precision medicine implementation. As a faculty member at Duke University, she ran research programs on genetic underpinnings of complex diseases, both infectious and chronic. In 2013 she founded Precision Medicine Advisors, an education and consulting business focused on communicating genomics to non-technical audiences, including health care providers, patients and other stakeholders. Jeanette has worked with Fabric Genomics since 2013 on the development of software for genome analysis and variant interpretation and currently leads scientific programs and clinical services. Jeanette is coauthor of the book, Precision Medicine: A Guide to Genomics in Clinical Practice (2016, McGraw Hill Education).
